Longitudinal Survey of Early Childhood (Encuesta Longitudinal de la Primera Infancia, ELPI)
Panel survey that collects detailed information on children's mental and physical wellbeing. Topics include: mental, cognitive, and demographic factors in a child's biopsychosocial development, mother's profile which includes prenatal care, cognitive ability and employment status. Main sample target: children born between January 1st, 2006 and August 31th, 2009. Around 15000 children participated in both two rounds. The research team added another 3000 new cohorts in the second round. Attrition rate is low, only 7%.
