Tegemeo Agricultral Monitoring and Policy Analysis Project
The project emphasises the monitoring and assessment of smallholder welfare through household-level data, collected annually or in some cases, biannually. Mainly focuses on topics that are related to household welfare and agriculture. Topics include productivity, income, food security, technology, environment, and agriculture. Baseline survey in 1997 contained 1,540 households which was designed to obtain nationally representative baseline data on household indicators in each of Kenya's provinces containing significant crop cultivation
Initial sample size: 1,540 households. Estimated current sample size for the balanced panel: 1,243 households.
